MONTE COFFEE, STA. CRUZ, LAGUNA

Monte Coffee was one of the very first coffee shops I visited in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Back then, I was not really into café hopping yet. I usually preferred milk tea shops over coffee shops, so discovering this place became one of my first experiences in exploring cafés around the area.

What made Monte Coffee memorable for me was its location and overall vibe. One of the best things about the café is that you can easily enjoy the sunset from the area, which makes the experience feel more peaceful and enjoyable.

Whether you visit in the late afternoon or during the evening, the place has a nice atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer with your friends.

Even though the café is known for its coffee, my personal favorites were actually their milk teas. I would personally rate their Milk Tea an 8.5/10 because the flavor was balanced and enjoyable without being too overpowering or overly sweet. It became my usual order whenever I visited the café.

To make the experience even better, I usually paired my drink with their Garlic Butter Chicken. For me, this was easily one of the best items on their menu. The chicken was flavorful, crispy, and satisfying, especially when eaten fresh and hot. The 6-piece serving was definitely worth the price, and I would honestly rate this one a 10/10 because it perfectly matched my taste and was something I always looked forward to ordering again.

Another thing I like about Monte Coffee is that it is also a great place to visit at night. If you ever get bored at home and want somewhere to go, this café is one of those places you can casually visit to unwind, eat, and spend time with friends. The place feels lively but still comfortable enough for long conversations and late-night hangouts.

The café itself became memorable to me because it introduced me to café culture in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Before visiting places like this, I mostly viewed cafés as places just for coffee lovers. But Monte Coffee showed me that cafés could also be enjoyable for people who prefer milk tea, snacks, and casual hangouts.

Looking back, Monte Coffee became one of the cafés that started my interest in exploring coffee shops around Laguna. Even now, it still feels nostalgic because it reminds me of the time when I first started appreciating café experiences beyond just milk tea shops.
